Build the look once. Batch the whole set.
Skip the setup on every image. Select the whole set, confirm once, and the export runs without you.
Included with the Studio plan
How it works
Three steps. You do the setup one time, not one time per image.
Build the effect stack
Add effects, or apply a preset from the library. The batch uses the stack that is on the canvas. You do not configure each image.
Select your images
Select multiple images when you load media, or drag them onto the editor together. Effect.app shows you how many images it will export.
Export them all
Confirm the batch and leave it. Effect.app exports each image through the same stack. To stop, press Escape.
Skip the build step too
Use a preset instead of building a look. Or connect an agent and let it drive the editor.
Start from the preset library
Apply ready-made looks from the library. Combine presets, build on top of them, or change the details. Save your variants as personal presets.

Build batch pipelines with MCP
Connect an agent with MCP. Ask for several presets and it runs a batch for each one. Chain the steps into a pipeline and the whole job runs unattended.

FAQ
How does batch export work?
First, build your effect stack on the canvas. Then select multiple images when you load media, or drag them onto the editor together. Confirm the batch. Effect.app exports each image through the same stack, one after another.
How much time does a batch save?
You build the effect stack one time instead of one time per image. However many images you select, the setup is the same. The export runs without you.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Batch export runs in your browser on your own GPU. The desktop app works the same way.
Which plan includes batch export?
The Studio plan includes batch export. If you upgrade, the feature is available immediately. You do not need to restart the app.
Can I batch videos?
No. Batch export works with still images only. Effect.app skips other file types. To apply effects to a video, export the video one clip at a time in the editor.
Does every image get the same effects?
Yes. The batch uses the effect stack on the canvas. Every image gets the same stack. To reuse a look, apply the preset first, then start the batch.
How do I stop a batch?
Press Escape. Effect.app completes the current image, then stops. The images it exported before you stopped stay in your Downloads folder.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your images stay on your machine. Your GPU renders each one through the same export path that a single image uses. Effect.app sends nothing to a server.
What format do the images export as?
The batch uses the format selected in the export menu, such as PNG or JPEG. The format applies to the whole batch. Check it before you confirm.
Can an agent run a batch?
Yes. Connect an agent with MCP and it can drive the editor and run one batch per preset. Use this to compare several looks across the same set, or to chain batches into a pipeline that runs unattended. The Studio plan includes MCP and batch export.
