How do I apply Thermal Camera online?

Open the Thermal Camera preset, add your image or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers to suit your source. Preview the result before exporting.

Does this show actual temperature?

No. Thermal maps visible image values into a false-color palette. The preset does not measure heat, detect infrared radiation, or reveal temperatures that are absent from the source.

What makes it look like camera footage?

Noise, Gaussian Blur, Bloom, NTSC, and VHS surround the thermal mapping. They add glow, softness, color smearing, and signal texture.

Can I change which colors appear in bright and dark areas?

Use the Thermal palette, inversion, and tonal controls. Since these settings follow image brightness rather than measured heat, experiment with them according to the visual composition.

How do I make the result cleaner?

Lower Noise strength, Bloom intensity, and VHS artifacts. Keep the Thermal layer active for the false-color effect, or use it alone when you want less surrounding camera texture.
