How do I apply Tranquil online?
Open the Tranquil preset, add your image or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers to suit your source. Preview the result before exporting.
What does the Tranquil preset contain?
Why does the texture affect some areas more than others?
The saved blending curves vary the texture's visibility according to tonal information. This makes it behave differently from a uniform overlay placed at one opacity across the whole photograph.
How do I lighten the result?
Raise the darker part of the first Curves adjustment or reduce the texture opacity. Make small changes while watching the subject, since a lifted background can also reduce separation around dark clothing or hair.
Does Tranquil add movement?
The saved preset contains tone and texture layers without a keyframed animation. On video, the source supplies the movement. For a preset with changing textures, try Scribble Frames.
