How do I apply Interlacing online?
Open the Interlacing preset, add your image or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers to suit your source. Preview the result before exporting.
How is the Interlacing preset constructed?
It uses Texture Displacement with a supplied map, followed by sharpening. The displaced lines create the effect's appearance without a larger tape or CRT stack.
Does it create a true interlaced video file?
The preset changes the visible image. It does not, by itself, configure field order or an interlaced video encoding format. Export settings and visual line distortion are separate things.
Can it fix combing in existing footage?
It adds a line-distortion treatment; it is not a deinterlacing tool. Use an appropriate deinterlacing workflow when the goal is to remove existing field artifacts.
How do I control the strength?
Reduce displacement amount for subtler offsets and adjust texture scale for the pattern. Ease sharpening if thin lines acquire too much edge contrast, then inspect moving footage at its final size.
