How do I apply KITSCH online?
Open the KITSCH preset, add your photo or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers. Preview at your intended output size before exporting.
Which layers are active by default?
The active stack includes Curves, blur controls, Hue Curves, Color Temperature, Hue/Saturation, Exposure, Classic Film, Noise, Paper Scan, and Texture Blur. Several other saved layers, including CRT and NTSC, are disabled by default.
Why is the color so exaggerated?
Multiple hue and saturation layers combine with strong Exposure and gamma settings. Lower these adjustments gradually rather than expecting a single saturation slider to undo the whole look.
Can I keep more facial detail?
Reduce Gaussian Blur and Texture Blur, then review the Exposure settings. A well-exposed source with a clearly separated face offers more useful detail to preserve.
Does KITSCH add a television screen effect?
Not in its default enabled stack. CRT and NTSC layers are saved but disabled. If you enable them, you are making a variation of the default preset shown in these previews.
