How do I apply Broken Glass online?
Open the Broken Glass preset, add your image or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers to suit your source. Preview the result before exporting.
What creates the broken-glass look?
Texture Blur varies focus across the image, Texture Displacement shifts detail using a map, and Layer Mix adds the visible surface treatment.
Can I make the cracks subtler?
Reduce the texture overlay opacity, then lower displacement amount if the image bends too strongly. Blur radius is separate, so you can keep a visible glass surface while making the subject clearer.
Does it simulate glass physically breaking apart?
The preset is an image treatment built from texture maps. It does not calculate a shattering object or generate a 3D fracture animation.
How is it different from Glass Panes?
Glass Panes uses repeated reeded-glass layers and film grain. Broken Glass relies on irregular texture maps, making it better suited to uneven, damaged-surface imagery than repeating pane patterns.
