Can I use Effect.app for free?
Yes. You can start on the free plan with core effects, version history, the Figma plugin, 720p image export, and short video exports. Upgrade only when you need higher export limits, no watermarks, animation tools, or Studio workflows.
What's the difference between Pro, Animate, and Studio?
Pro is for high-quality export work: 4K output, longer videos, no watermarks, commercial license, and the desktop app. Animate adds keyframe animation, up to 5 minutes of video export, unlimited custom presets, and reusable animation settings. Studio adds 16K export resolution, up to 120 minutes of video export, Desktop MCP, and batch editing for images.
Can I upgrade or switch plans?
Yes — you can move between plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; if you switch to a lower tier, the change applies at the end of your current billing period.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you'll keep access through the end of your paid term. After that, your account moves back to the free plan — no further charges.
Do you offer refunds?
First payments may qualify for a full refund within 14 days. Renewals are considered within 3 days when no exports or downloads occurred during that billing period. Current billing periods are otherwise non-refundable. See the Terms for full details.
