How do I apply Grunge Dither online?
Open the Grunge Dither preset, add your image or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers to suit your source. Preview the result before exporting.
What creates the grunge finish?
Curves and light blur prepare the source, a Layer Mix texture adds wear, Dither reduces the palette, and Paper Scan supplies the final surface.
How can I make the pixels smaller?
Reduce Dither pixel step. Then revisit its gamma and palette settings, because finer pixels can reveal more midtone detail and change how the texture reads.
Can I keep the distressed texture but change the colors?
Yes. Adjust the Dither palette while leaving the texture and Paper Scan layers active. Compare the new palette against both dark and bright regions to avoid losing the subject.
How is it different from Grunge?
Grunge uses monochrome tinting, noise, and a compact dither treatment. Grunge Dither adds a dedicated texture overlay and scanned paper, giving you more separate control over surface wear.
