How do I apply OLD PAINTING online?
Open the OLD PAINTING preset, add your image or video, and adjust the loaded effect layers to suit your source. Preview the result before exporting.
How is the preset constructed?
It combines Depth of Field, a texture overlay, noise, Gradient Map, Curves, hue adjustments, Ink Bleed, inverted Levels, bloom, and exposure.
Is it a traditional oil-painting simulation?
It is a creative distressed-image treatment. The published example uses blue tones and strongly altered edges; the preset does not model individual oil brushstrokes or reproduce a specific historical painting method.
How can I keep more of the photograph visible?
Reduce Ink Bleed amount and intensity, then ease the texture and blur. Work with a clear silhouette, as small details are easily absorbed by the stronger surface treatment.
Can I change the blue palette?
Yes. Edit the Gradient Map and hue settings, then inspect the later Curves and Levels stages. Those stages also influence the result, so changing only one color control may not determine the final palette.
